The long wait is over.  The Kindle 3 book reader is now available in Canada. If you live in Canada all you have to do is visit this link and you will be taken to the official  Kindle  page.

The Kindle  Canada does not come with a cover, I strongly suggest you get one since it is an expensive electronic gadget and can get damaged if dropped.

Good news! Amazon has just released the new model of the Kindle DX reader. With a big 9.7″ screen it now offers Global Wireless,  which enables you to wirelessly download content in over 100 countries and territories (Including Canada, of course). With an extended battery life, you can now read for up to 1 week on a single charge with wireless on, a significant improvement from the previous battery life of 4 days.
