I’ve purchased 3 of these lights, and 2 of the 3 have worked great. The third light disconnected at the point where the “arm” attatched to the base — it is still functional (duct tape!), but that seemed to be a weak point in the construction. Overall, I’ve been extremely happy with the lights — they are quite bright and have an option for dimming the light by pressing the power switch a second time. The lights require 3 AAA batteries which are easy to purchase and replace. The light attatches to my kindle cover and works perfectly in that regard and also works well when clipping it to a hardcover book. I’ve purchased many book lights, and for me, this has been the best of the bunch – the arm of the light makes it very adjustable, the light is bright, and the batteries last a decent amount of time. I would purchase again despite the difficulty I had with one of the three.

I loved this light. . . . while it worked! The on/off switch is not reliable (flimsy at best) and when I asked about getting it replaced, was told I was out of luck. Keep this in mind should you decide to purchase this light.
