<description>Recently purchased this leather cover for my Kindle and it looks and works great. Very classy. I think it makes the whole Kindle look sharper. The thin pockets on the inside for business cards or a few sheets of note paper are a nice touch. Holds the Kindle firmly in place. I travel and move a lot with my Kindle so I also opted for the clear silicone &quot;body-glove&quot; and thought it was great that it still fit in the jacket with the silicone skin on. It was just an added measure of protection for my Kindle. Highly recommended.

<description>I am really pleased with the M-edge Prodigy Jacket. The leather is very nice quality. The interior is is a micro-fiber fabric with a similar feel to suede. The flap will keep the jacket closed when you are traveling or storing your Kindle. (I tuck the flap between itself and the back of the case when reading to keep it out of the way. ) The elastic corner straps are an excellent idea and help to hold your Kindle in place.

I am an attorney and wanted something professional looking, that would also do a good job of protecting my Kindle. This case fits my requirements perfectly.

M-edge is supposed to come out with a light that will fit into this case sometime this summer. The light will fold down next to the Kindle for storage. I hope the light is as good as the case. See their web site for more details on the light.

<description>I purchased this cover along with the M-Edge light, and am very pleased with the quality and styling of the cover. It creates a nice sophisticated look for the Kindle, protecting it in my briefcase as I travel. I couldn&#039;t be happier. The exterior is a smooth black leather with just a touch of graining, with white contrasting stitching - a very classic look. The interior grey microfibre is quite soft and gently cradles the Kindle, with no chance of scratches from the cover. The Kindle is firmly held in place by the left hand hinges, as well as the elastic bands over the upper and lower right hand corners. All the controls, switches, and plug-in spots are accessible without removing the device.

The light is a nice touch. I frequently travel overseas, and on night flights when the lights go out, the light perfectly illuminates the Kindle screen without creating a large pool of light and annoying my seatmates. It neatly folds down beside the Kindle, without interferring with any of the controls. The cover is designed to close around the light, and this works perfectly.

With the M-Edge cover and light in place, the Kindle is easy to ready in many positions, the left hand flap can be folded behind if you like (I don&#039;t), and the little extra bulk of the cover makes a nice overall package.

<description>I ordered this case to protect my beloved Kindle2 since I travel so much. I have been very impressed with this case - it looks and feels very high quality, like the really expensive appointment books. It is very sleek and classy, and is still slim enough to easily pull out of my overstuffed computer bag. I can easily fold back the cover to read one-handed in the airport security line. It does make the Kindle heavier though, so I still prefer to take the Kindle out if I&#039;m reading in my seat in the plane or in bed. The hinge attachment was a little stiff at first, but now I can pop the Kindle in and out super-quick. I am so glad I opted for the slight additional cost for this case versus the ones you can get for $25-30. It&#039;s been totally worth it.

<description>After receiving my Kindle 2 from my wife in July, I have plagued the internet in search of the &#039;perfect&#039; cover for my Kindle. While this is not the one I originally wanted, I finally settled on it because it was a bit cheaper. I also wanted a cover with pockets on the inside. The M-Edge Prodigy was a perfect fit. While there are some things that I don&#039;t necessarily love about the cover, I have used it for a week or so now and can&#039;t imagine why I didn&#039;t snatch one up before.

Here are a few of my personal pros/cons:

Pros:
- great quality at an affordable price
- pockets on the inside cover
- light capabilities
- hinges and corner straps to secure the Kindle 2
- free range of the front cover (can fold the front cover behind the Kindle)
- closure strap

Cons:
- Closure strap is a tight fit and takes some work to get it all the way secure (at least in the beginning)
- the ridge going all the way around the cover (while I realize it has to be this way to secure it, it would be nice to have a flat back for writing things)
- the straps often slip off of the corners

Overall, I love this product and look forward to wearing it out. :)
