The cover I received was in like new condition. It has a luxurious look and feel. It attached to the Kindle easily and has been sturdy and very functional so far. I would recommend the cover even though the price at first seemed high compared to the cover sold by Amazon.

I can't begin to express how much I love my Cole Haan Kindle Cover. I've had it for nearly 3 months now, and I love it today as much as the first day that I received it. It provides excellent protection for Kindle, as I had a little whoops once, when my Kindle tumbled to the floor. It was perfectly safe with the Cole Haan cover. The hinge hooks provide additionally safety measures, as it makes sure that the Kindle stays fastened in its cover. I keep my Kindle and cover with me in my backpack and/or purse during my daily commutes to/from work on the Metro train and practically whenever I go out and know I may have some downtime for reading. The cover keeps it safe.

In addition to its practical features, it is the most classy, "eye-candy" cover around. The outside pecan-colored leather and inside egg-white suede is soft and flexible, allowing you to either use the cover to make Kindle more "book-like" or to fold it behind the back flap. Personally, I prefer to fold the front cover back, as other reviewers noted, the Kindle is a Kindle, not a book. I have received many compliments on my Kindle cover. And as I've seen others on the Metro train with their Kindle covers, the Cole Haan one definitely has the aesthetic eye appeal. The others look cheap in comparison.

While at home, I tend to use the semi-transparent silicon rubber case by MyGift, that lets me hold the Kindle "raw" and provides some coverage for keeping it clean, but as you'll see from my review on the case, I am not nearly as impressed with the case as I am with my Cole Hann cover.

I HIGHLY Recommend the Cole Haan Kindle Cover. Though it's a little pricey, I consider it worth the investment.

After reading the smelly stories about the other Kindle 2 covers I was delighted to see the Cole Haan cover offer. It fits perfectly, looks fantastic and it actually makes me feel like I'm holding a book instead of an electronic device.

It is pricey. . . . . . . . . . but it's worth it!

Well, for the price it should be good quality and this leather coat for my Kindle is certainly very soft and supple leather in an understated colour that matches most things. I like the analogue book-like tangibility and classical appearance. The only reason I am not giving 5*s is because the beautiful soft leather is extremely subject to scuffs and marking while enduring the daily encounters in a handbag. At the same time, this adds to its authentic well-loved look very quickly.
